What to Do with All of That Leftover Holiday Turkey? How about Making Great Tasting, Fat Burning Burritos?!
Burrito Diet Turkey Burrito
- 1 high fiber tortilla
- 1 ounce Cabot’s 50% Light pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 3 ounces turkey breast
- ¼ cup Old El Paso Fat-Free Refried Beans
- 2 Tbsp packaged guacamole
- 1 Tbsp of Old El Paso 40% Less Sodium Taco Seasoning Mix
- Sautéed peppers and onions
Pull 3 ounces of meat out of the leftovers and heat in a skillet with taco seasoning mix and water (follow directions on seasoning packet) until liquid is absorbed. Spread refried beans on tortilla, and add turkey mixture – top with rest of toppings, fold and enjoy!
Thanksgiving Burrito
- 1 high fiber tortilla
- 3 ounces turkey breast
- ½ baked sweet potato, cubed
- 1 oz crushed pecans
- Sautéed onions
Sauté onions in olive oil in a pan. Pull 3 ounces of meat out of the leftovers and heat briefly with the onions. Add turkey and onion mixture to tortilla, add sweet potato and sprinkle with pecans, fold and enjoy!
Turkey and Swiss Wrap
- 1 high fiber tortilla
- 3 ounces turkey breast
- 1 slice Alpine Lace Reduced Fat Swiss cheese
- Sautéed sliced mushrooms
Sauté sliced mushrooms in olive oil in a pan. Pull 3 ounces of meat out of the leftovers and heat briefly with the mushrooms. Add turkey and mushroom mixture to tortilla, top with cheese, fold and enjoy!
